As a result of this, the founder, Julian Assange, became a wanted man in multiple countries. But it influenced many citizens from a myriad of countries to find out what their government was up to and take it to social media platforms

    Fake News - Following the election of Donald Trump in the US, many claims came forward about corruption and the use of social media. Websites like Twitter and Facebook began to hunt down fake news and other false media in an effort to ensure fair and truthful news.
