    Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci, also know as Leonardo da Vinci was born on April 15, 1452 at Anchiano, Italy.Leonardo's fathers name was Piero da Vinci and his mother's name was Caterina.There was little known about Leonardos young life.He spent his first 5 years in the Hamlet of Anchiano in the home of his mother, then from 1457 he lived in the household of his father, grandparents and uncle, Francesco, in the small town of Vinci. His father had married a sixteen-year-old girl named Albiera.
