    Hassan and Farzana finally have their first child after their first one died during birth and this is significant because it's their mark on the world before they get killed and it affects Amir because he raises the child and he did this because he says "There is a way to be good again, he'd said. A way to end the cycle"(226) which meant that if he saved this child he can atone for his actions.

    Amir found out through Rahim that Hassan and his wife got accused of trespassing and stealing a house, even though, that was a lie and Hassan was living there with Amir. After that accusation, the Taliban thought that all Hazaras are liars and thieves, they decided to kill him and his wife starting attacking one of the guards and also got shot. In the end, no one stands up to the Taliban because they were scared and this impacted Amir because now Sohrab was "A little boy. An orphan"(226)

    When Amir goes to the Taliban to save Sohrab and finds that Assef is one of the leaders and has to get beat up by him to earn Sohrab and when Amir was about to get killed Sohrab saves him and they both escaped and Hassan said "We made it outside, into daylight, my arm around Sohrab's shoulder"(291). This significant because it demonstrates that Amir risks his life to save Sohrab and finally is facing all his sins.

    Finally Sohrab and Amir arrive again in the US
    Finally, after almost a year of being away from home, Amir goes home with Sohrab and starts a new life with him while raising him. This significant because after all, he went through and the challenges he had to pass, he finally got Sohrab and atoned with all his sins and by always protecting Sohrab for the rest of his life, including standing up for him from the General saying "You will never again refer to him as 'Hazara boy' in my presence. He has a name and it's Sohrab."(361)
