    The French and Indian War
    The War was between The Native Americans that allied with The French and Great Britain. This war is primarily about fighting for New World Territory. The war didn't start well with Britain but they start winning more battles. As a result, the British had won.
  • The Stamp Act

    The Stamp Act
    Great Britain imposed a tax that requires a stamp on every single legal document. The Colonist don't like having the taxes placed on them. This has leaded to conflict and drama with the British.
  • The Townshend Acts

    The Townshend Acts
    A series of laws that were by Great Britain. They've placed new taxes (imports on paper,paint,lead,glass, and tea) on the colonists and took away some of the freedoms. The Act have also let the British Officials to search the colonists' houses and businesses.
  • The Boston Massacre

    The Boston Massacre
    A mob of colonists had gathered at the Customs house in Boston, Massachusetts. They were taunting and teasing the British soldiers who is guarding the building. The British Soldiers shot and killed people when they're harassed by the mob. They're were 5 colonists that are dead. The leading patriots such as Samuel Adams and Paul Revere had let the know that the British had killed the 5 colonists and their hands were branded with an "M" for murder as their punishment.

    Their reaction to the Tea Act was not good at all. The colonists were angry at the new tax on tea. So some of the colonists named as the sons of liberty have boarded the ship and they dumped the tea to the Boston Harbor.

    Paul Revere has set out at midnight from his house in North Boston to reach Samuel Adams and John Hancock. He was actually assigned by the sons of liberty to go get them. He warned the other colonists that "The British is coming!".

    The British were planning to occupy the hills surrounding the city. There were some 1000 colonial militiamen under General Colonel William Prescott. They had built earthen Fortifications on top of Breed's hill. The Colonists had fought and the result is that the British had won

    The Continental Congress commissioned George Washington in Cambridge, Massachusetts 3 weeks later after the Battle of Bunker Hill. He was picked over other candidates such as John Hancock, the person with the biggest signature on the Constitution.

    This battle was fought on the island of Manhattan, New York. It also was the final devastating chapter of Washington's disastrous NY Campaign. The result is that the British had won. There are 613 Estimated Casualties total. The Colonists had surrendered to the British.

    This Battle was fought in Trenton, NJ. It was a small but a pivotal battle. The Significance of the battle and the conflict was that Hessian Army was crushed in Washington's raid across the Delaware River and the colonists and other Americans were energized by the easy defeat of the British Hessian Army. Which means that the Americans had won this battle as a result.

    This battle occurred in September and October. This was fought in Saratoga County, NY. This was also fought 14 days apart. This is also the Turning Point because the French was convinced by the Continental Army's strength. Later, the French would declare war on Great Britain. Washington and the Continental Army had won this battle.

    The Siege of Charleston
    This battle was a major engagement. This was also America's worst defeat in the Revolution. The British CIC in America had left NYC with a fleet of 90 troopships,14 warships,and more than 12,000-13,500 soldiers and sailors while the Continental Army got more than half of 6000 soldiers. There were 5,764 Casualties and the Continental Army had that majority. Therefore, As a result, the British had won this battle.

    The Battle of King's Mountain
    This battle was fought near Blackburn, SC and King's Mountain, NC. This was also a military engagement between the patriots and the loyalists. The Patriots are the Americans and the Loyalists are the British. This was during the Southern Campaign of the Revolution. There are 90 Casualties for the Continental Army and 1,121 Casualties for the British. The Patriots (Continental Army) had won this battle as a result.
  • The Battle of Yorktown

    The Battle of Yorktown
    This was the last battle of the American Revolution. This battle was fought in Yorktown, VA. This is also when the French came to help the Continental Army. George Washington of the Continental Army and his french ally, Comte de Rochambeau of the French Army, had 19,000 troops altogether while the British had 9,000 troops. There are 8,978 casualties in all. The French Army helped the Continental Army and the Continental Army won the very last battle in the American Revolution as a result.

    After the War, 100,000 Americans who remained loyal to the crown of the king of Great Britain had left america. About 80,000 fled to Canada or Britain. While the others had headed north to Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. Also some of the 15,000 African Americans had ended up helping them found the country of Sierra Leone in the Continent of Africa.

    The Treaty of Paris was signed
    The Representatives of King George III of Great Britain and the Representatives of the US had made an agreement at the Hotel d'York in Paris, France. This Treaty ended the American Revolution. They agreed to give the Northwest Territory to the United States and the treaty provided fair treatment of American Citizens who had remained loyal to Great Britain during the war.

    This was an armed uprising in the Western side of Massachusetts. It was a response to the debt crisis among the citizenry and in opposition to the government of the state's increased efforts to collect the taxes imposed on both of the individuals and their trading. It was caused by economic policy,aggressive tax and collection,political corruption, and cronyism.

    The US Constitution
    The US Constitution was signed at the Constitutional Convention at the Independence Hall in philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The reason why the Articles Of Confederation was replaced is because that the document had gave too much power to the states and it caused disruption and conflict among the states. So during the Convention, the delegates had proposed the Virginia Plan and the Connecticut Compromise. The Constitution is the oldest document in operation in the world today.
  • George Washington becomes the 1st US President

    George Washington becomes the 1st US President
    After the 1st presidential debate and the election, Washington became the 1st president of the US and his wife became the 1st lady of the US. He was born in 1732. After the American Revolution, Washington had resigned as the CIC (Commander-In-Chief) to the Continental Army. After his 2nd term of presidency, he gave his farewell address. He told us to not have political parties and warned us against long-term alliances. He died of a Throat Infection on 1799.
