    Phillip Garrido's History
    Phillip Garrido drugged and raped a 14 year old girl in 1972. However, the charges against him were dropped due to the girl's inability to testify. After this, in 1976, Phillip abducts a 25 year old woman and rapes her. He is now sentenced to 50 years in federal prison. Phillip serves only 11 years and is granted parole in 1988. In 1991 Phillip kidnaps Jaycee and holds her captive for 18 years.

    Jaycee Lee Dugard was walking to the bus stop from her house on the morning of June 10, when she was kidnapped by Phillip Garrido and his wife Nancy Garrido

    Her father witnessed the kidnapping and he immediately hopped on his bike to track down the kidnappers. He was no match as they already were driving away with Jaycee inside. He quickly notified the police of what happened.
  • Suspect's Vehicle is Found

    Two days after Jaycee Dugard's kidnapping, the vehicle of the suspects was spotted at Fallen Leaf Lake. They also spotted a young girl lying in the back of the vehicle. However, police were never able to track it down and so Jaycee's disappearance continued.

    It has now been three years since her kidnapping and Jaycee had already been raped several times by Phillip. At the age of 14, Jaycee gave birth to her first child, Angel.

    At the age of 17, only three years after giving birth too her first born, Jaycee continues to be sexually abused and ends up giving birth too her second born, Starlit.
  • No Leads

    Eighteen years pass by and Jaycee Dugard is still missing. The police have had no leads on where she is or if she is alive. During this time, Phillips parole officer has come to the house many times, yet has never inspected the area even when he noticed children in Phillip's back yard. Also, a phone call was made in 2008 that called police to the house. This resulted in a thirty minute talk with no investigation. In the end many officials admit to the idiotic moves and feel very guilty.
  • Justice is Served

    Justice is Served
    Phillip and Nancy decide to bring Jaycee and her kids onto the Berkeley campus in order to obtain the chance to create a religious event. A police officer standing nearby noticed Jaycee's odd behavior and ran a background check on Phillip. With the new knowledge of his previous arrests and a phone call too his parole officer, Phillip was sentenced to a parole meeting on August 26th.
  • Home Sweet Home

    Home Sweet Home
    In the parole meeting, Phillip and Nancy gave up on hiding Jaycee's identity and handed her over to the police. They were charged with 29 felony counts, which included rape and kidnapping. Jaycee Dugard was reunited with her family for the first time in over 18 years.
