    Paper maps slowly have died out and next to no one uses them anymore. This is because we have mobile phones with built-in maps that you can search up any street and it will give you directions. Mobile maps are also much more clear and easy to understand. Paper maps have just gone out of date and are pointless to use now. The date shown represents the time that paper maps starting dying out as Google Maps had become so sophisticated.
  • Phone Booth

    Phone Booth
    Phone Booths have slowly been dying out and next to no one uses them anymore. There is no need for phone booths as everyone has phones and wouldn't want to waste 25 cents every time they call someone when they can use their own phone. There may still be phone booths however next to no one uses them anymore. The date shown represents the year that phone booths started dying out

    Newspapers have slowly died out and no one uses them anymore as there is no need to. We have reminders on our phones telling us news and television has news channels running 24/7 for all the news we would need. The date shown represents the year that newspapers died out.

    Polaroids used to be that camera that you would take a picture and wait a couple of minutes to see the result. Today not so many people use it as they have their phones which instantly show you the picture where you can decide to keep or delete it. In 2014 it was official that polaroid went bankrupt and stopped making them.
  • Alarm Clocks

    Alarm Clocks
    Alarm clocks have become obsolete as no one uses them anymore as they have a built-in alarm clock in their phones. They have stopped making lots of alarm clocks because of the phones.
  • Wired Headphones

    Wired Headphones
    Wired Headphones were replaced with wireless headphones in 2016 when many companies started making wireless headphones. Most new phones come out without a headphone jack now to push you to buy wireless headphones. It is very rare to find people with wired headphones now as everyone has wireless.     Landlines were heavily used but with the addition of smartphones, they were pointless. They went obsolete in 2017.
  • Fidget Spinners

    Fidget Spinners
    Fidget spinners were very popular in the same decade that it became obsolete. during 2017-2018 lots of people were buying fidget spinners but they soon ran out of gas and no one wanted them anymore. They don't produce them anymore and no one uses them either.
  • Flip Phones

    Flip Phones
    Flip phones were beaten by smartphones as they had much better features that a flip phone couldn't compete with. This caused the end of flip phones. IN 2019 they were confirmed to be obsolete.
  • Fax Machines

    Fax Machines
    Fax Machines were used a lot during the 2000s but now with all of the technology we have, they're useless. In 2019 lots of jobs stopped using fax machines and they have been obsolete for longer than just 2019.
