  • Pendulum Clock

    Pendulum Clock
    The Dutch philosopher and mathmatician, named Christiaan Huygens invented the first pendulum clock, along with other sea faring clocks that allowed the most accurate time keeping for people. The newest pendulum pocket watch allowed society to advance because now we can accurately travel to far places and still keep a mental connection to modern society allowing more accurate global trading, but on the negative side, if you did not possess a clock you were not seen as educated or with society.

The piano is very influential to global society, because with the creation of the piano it defined a new level of social class- drawing a distinction of high society.     Crayons
    Edwin Binney and his cousin Harold Smith created the original "Crayola crayons" . Crayons are a wax mix that is colored and children can draw with them on paper. They impact society by creating a new way of making art, and allowing color to fill pictures. They impact society negatively because they are more of a mineral mix that if digested or left to nature will not decompose because of the oils in it.

It is a little thing like a band aid that you stick to your skin and gives you (through your skin) the proper hormones to feel like you are taking a daily pill, to regulate and control menstrul cycles. This has positively impacted society by allowing females to try to controle unruly side effects of periods, and given confidence that females

    no longer need to take (or forget) pills to prevent accidental pregnacy or regulating violent side effects. The negative impact on society is, that now women who use devices such as this or pills, create a stereyotype against females, blaming users as 'slutty' or considered lower class, when in reality it is a great advancement in medical technology.
