Champagne is a sparkling wine that goes through two phases of fermentation. It differs from wine because it is carbonated. A positive impact this invention had on scoiety is that is introduced another material possesion to high culture. Champgane was originally associated with royalitly and as time went on, it still remains associated with the upper class. However, with this association with the upper class, it creates discrimination against the lower class, which is a negative effect. -
Interchangable Parts
Interchangeable parts are when objects of the same type or brand are created with identical components. That way it allows for the switch of a certain part between two different objects of the same type, but both will continue to function properly. This invention changed the methonds of production. It created the advantage of producing more products and lead to the creation of factory jobs which also lead to the industrial revolution. -

However, a downfall to this invention is that it took focus away from the method of hand-crafting products and destroyed small businesses that specialized in it. -
Sewing Machine Continued
It destoryed business for small privatly owned taylor shops and helped introduce more women into the work force. As more women entered the work force, family life was serverly impacted. -

This inventiion connected a hooked needle with a throbbin of tread into a machine that was able to speed up work time. The advantage to this machine was that it eliminated the time it took for women to sew clothes for their families and made clothes of the same, if not better quailty.. However, the downfall was that sewing machines became very popular in factories during the industrial revolution. -
Frozen Food
This invention is a method used to quick freeze fresh food so that it can be thawed out and still be edible months after it was packaged. The biggest advantage to this is that it improved the health of society. People were able to eat healthy foods like fruits and vegatables during off growing seasons such as the winter. Another advantage to Clarence Birdseye method was that it didn't cause such a drastic change in flavor or quality of the food being frozen. -

The disadvantage of this invention is that it lead to frozen dinners that created separation in the family because members started eating on their own instead of together. -
Youtube
Youtube is a free online network used to share video clips all over the world. This invention is benefical because it allows a variety of media clips, like the news, to be shared with everyone. It is also often used by teachers during class because it offers educational programs as well. However, the downfall to it is that it can act as a distraction to students because it contains other media clips like music, and random entertaining videos. -

It also may create distrubance in the family household because some videos are inappropiate even with censoring.
