    Gale lifts Prim off of Katniss. This is helpful because now that Prim is literally taken out of the situation, she won't be in the Hunger Games. That is what Katniss wants for Prim. Also it is painful to have a little girl thrashing about on you.

    Madge Gives Katniss her pin. This is helpful because it shows that Madge cares for Katniss. It allow Katniss to carry something form her district.

    Effie Trinket gives Katniss chocolate milk and a big meal. This is helpful because it gives Katniss energy for the Hunger Games. I know that this is helpful becuase Katniss feels supported by her District.

    Rue warns Katniss about the tracker jacker nest. This is extremely helpful to Katniss. If Rue didn't warn Katniss the insects would have killed Katniss. Also Katniss would have never gotten the chance to use it as a weapon.

    Haymitch gives Katniss medicine. This is helpful becuase medical supplies are essential. Katniss can now use the medicine to treat her burns.

    Peeta spares Katniss. This a very important event. Peeta could have killed Katniss easily, but he let her go. This shows Katniss is not allied with the Careers.

    Rue treats Katniss' tracker jacker stings. This is very helpful. If the wound was not treated in a matter of days Katniss would have died.

    Haymitch sends Katniss bread from District 11 that was meant for Rue. This is important because it cateracts her hunger. This will temporarly ward of starvation.

    Haymitch gives Katniss advice. He warns her that the Capitol is mad at her. He adives to say that she wasn't responsible for her actions because she was lovestruck. This is helpful because, now she won't get in trouble with the Capitol.
