    Democritus

    Democritus
Democritus was born in 460BC. He lived in Greece and came up with the theory that everything can be broken down until you come up with single particles or atoms.

    Kanada

    Kanada
Kanada was a Hindu philosopher from 600 BEC. He believed everything was divided and divided and divided until it was tiny, which he called paramanu. He believed it was indestructible.
  • Newton

    Newton
Isaac newton was born in England. He was a physics, astronomer, mathematician, philosopher, alchemist and theologianIn 1687, he published a paper titled Philosophae Naturalis Principia Mathematical. It is about motion and gravity.
  • Lavoisier

    Lavoisier
Lavoisier studied the composition of chemical compounds. He discovered that compounds containing more than one element always had the same amount of each element.
  • Dalton

    Dalton
John Dalton, born 6th of September 1766 in Eaglesfield, England and died on the 27th of July 1844 (aged 77) in Manchester England. He was an English chemist. Dalton is best known for his work in the development of modern atomic theory. He also studied colour-blindness, a condition from which he suffered. John Dalton was also a meteorologist, keeping daily records of the weather for 57 years.
  • Robert Brown

    Robert Brown
Robert Brown lived in Scotland and England. Brown discovered that the explanation to his experiment was that the pollen was hitting particles of water causing the movement. This movement has been named the Brownian motion, after Robert Brown.
  • Thomas

    Thomas
Thomas was born on 18th of December 1856 he grow up in English lived in England. He was famous because of his discoverey of electrons and that there were smaller particles inside the atom.
  • Rutherford

    Rutherford
Rutherford was born on 30th of August, 1871 he lived in England and was well known for his discoverey the nucleus of the atom through his gold foil experiment.
  • Max Born

    Max Born
Born was born on 11th of December 1882 he lived in Germany.
He created a theory, which states that the electron may exhibit the qualities of both a wave and a particle.
  • Bohr

    Bohr
Bohr was born on 7th of October, 1885 he lived in the Netherlands for his entire life. He had thought that the orbits of electrons in atoms have specific energy levels and along with that, also have specific values.
  • Schrodinger

    Schrodinger
Schrödinger was an Austrian scientist who worked out a mathematical equation to see how electrons behave in the hydrogen atom.
  • Mosely

    Mosely
Henry Mosely was a British chemist. He studied under Rutherford. He created the application of x-ray to study the atomic structure in 1913. This caused the positioning of the periodic table to be more accurate, because of a closer determination of each elements atomic numbers.
  • Chadwick

    Chadwick
Chadwick was born on 20th of October 1891. He Lived in England and he discovered the neutron.
  • Wolfgang Pauli

    Wolfgang Pauli
Pauli was born 25th of April 1900 he lived in Switzerland.

He created the Pauli Exclusion Principle that states that no two electrons in an atom can have the same four quantum numbers.
Whilst being at university he was an assistant to Max Born and in further years with Niels Bohr.
  • Fermi

    Fermi
Enrico Fermi was born and lived in Rome. He discovered the Fermi statistics in 1901, which are the particles subject to fermions.
In 1934 he discovered there’s a nuclear transformation occurring in almost every element containing a neutron.
