Tadpole Growth Period
The tadpole begins to mature and grow prior to any visible limbs.

Hind Legs Appear
The hindlegs begin to grow, starting the full body formation for the young frog.
Tadpole Legs Growing -

Front Legs Grow in and Tail Shrinks
At this point the tadpole stops growing in length and begins to grow in it's front legs. At the end of this time the tail will have shrunk down to nearly nothing.

Tadpoles Become Froglets
At this point all four limbs are grown in, and the tail has shrunk down to nearly nothing. This is when their lives as true frogs begins! After they grow a little, they will mate and repeat this cycle. Check this out!
