King Louis tried leaving paris by acting like a civilian but was caught and braught back to paris to be greeted by angry pedestrians. They only got as far as Varennes and were caught by guards. -

The storming happened just before king louis exocution becuase he was suspected of treason. -

King louis was exocuted on january, 21 first on charges of treason becuase he was thought to be talking with the Austrian King. -

Napolean came to France after Max Robespirre got kicked from power. Napolean led the recapture of the French port of Toulon from the British which made in very popular.
