    The balance of power between the different estates degan to mecome uneven.
  • National Assembly

    The national assembly was created by the third estate inorder to vot as a nation instead of as estates.
  • Storming of the Bastille

    Insurgents attacked the Bastille inorder to steal large weapons and amunition. Bastille was also the symbol of royal power.
  • Working Toward A Constitution

    The french peoples begin workin twards a constitution that would liberate them from royalist control.
  • Completing the Constitution

    As most of the Assembly still favoured a constitutional monarchy so the various groups reached a compromise which left Louis XVI as little more than a figurehead.

    Inorder to protect the rights of the people a vote for the exicution of the king was held and fell in favor of his death.
