Chapter two
I am going to finish writing chapter two next Wednesday!! It will be the first day using my schedule. -
Writing Chapters
In my book, I am going to write exactly twenty chapters. I am going to write one chapter everyday that I am with my mom. Since I now have a schedule of writing chapters, I will be able to attain my goal!!! -
Things that are getting in the way!!!
I want to work more and more on my goal, but their are many different things that are startingto get in the way. For example, I want to work on my goal, but I have other homework as well, and I also want to hang out with friends as well. I need to try and organize my time better!!! -
Another Goal
Even though I've barely written anything for my story, I have big dreams. I've been thinking about how cool it will be when I see my book published and being sold at "Chapters". Also, it will be so great if there's a movie made out of my book and everyone will love it, hopefully. -
Difficulties
I wasn't able to write the next chapter on Wednesday, but I'm going to write it and maybe even another one, today. -
Communicating Skills
I think that Communicating Skills ( a part of English in school) is actually helping me write my book. Now, I am more aware of different mistakes that I'm making, grammer wise, so I'm doing a better job. -
The second chapter
I am in the midst of writing chapter two. I really want to make these first few chapters interesting because I want to grab the reader's attention. -
Helpful Writers
I am reading a book called Eclipse, written by Stephenie Meyer. As I am writing my book I am editing my mistakes by using her book. For example, when I was unsure if you are supposed to put a question mark before quotations or after, I looked in her book and I found the answer. -
I must finish chapter 2
I have been so buisy and so I haven`t finished writing the second chapter of my book. I am going to make a commitment to myself that I will finish the second chapter this weekend, and start the third. -
Dialogue
I have to think of if I want all of the dialogue to be perfect spelling. For example, in the beginning Tyler says "hey gurrrl", for that should I spell girl or gurrrrl. I don't know what to do. I suppose that people don't have spellcheck when they are speaking but I don't know, maybe it would be better to have their speech in perfect spelling. Ahh, the troubles I face!!! -
Esrevinu doesn't have any interest in guys?
I have this other really good idea, well I think it is, Esrevinu not having any interest in guys. She isn't going to because she's the controller of the universe, so it would be weird if she liked a human being. -
Tyler
I have the perfect plan. Even though Tyler seems like a nice guy, he's not going to be. I'mg going to make him one of the bad guys giving information to peopl that want to abuse Esrevinu's powers for their gain. What a great idea!! -
I've come up with a new name: Esrevinu
I'm writing another book and I had to use the name Evol for it because it went with the plot, so I had to change the name of the main character in this one. I changed her name to Esrevinu(es-re-veen), backwards universe. Sincde she controls the entire universe I figured it would be a name that suits her. -
Editing
I think it's always good to edit in the process of writing a story. I mean it's also good to edit your entire story when it's finished, but I think it's also good to edit while writing. So, today I edited all of what I've written so far. I realize that I haven't written that much. -
I read it to some people....
I read the first bit of my book to my mom and two of her friends. I did this because I wanted to get their feedback. They said that they really loved it, so i'm glad. I was thinking that it wasn't good so I kind of kept putting it off. I know now that it is actually good, so I'm going to start writing regularly now. -
Not foreshadowing to much
I want to foreshadow to make my writing interesting and make the writer read on, but I can't do it to much. Somehow, I need to foreshadow without foreshadowing too much. So, I have an idea, that I may or may not use. The idea is to foreshadow in the beginning and kind of at the climax but in the end I can't leav the reader unsure of anything. -
Making the book into a Movie
I think that after I finish writing this book, I should get it published and then make it into a movie. That would be so cool because then more people would hear about my story. -
I need to Write
I don't know why, their must be something wrong with me. I think that I keep putting off writing my book. It's so annoying even for me. So, I think that I'm going to commit to myself that I will write at least once per day, when I'm at my moms. If I don't continue to write then I won't be able to complete my goal. I need to. -
Book For School
My teacher gave us the assigment to write a book that's about ten pages long. I just wrote a lot of that book, so I shoulld be done soon. I hope that I will finish quickly because it's taking away time for the book for my goal. -
A series of books
I'm not going to make my plot into a series of books, well at least at the moment I don't want to. When I read I prefer reading just one book instead of a series so I think that people will prefer to read my book as just one, rather than a bunch. -
Words
I need to make sure that the words I out in my story are really good words, not words like nice. They have to be words like instead of pretty, I would use gorgeous. If I do this then it will make the reader appreciate my writing more. -
Too big of a goal
I think that I chose way to big of a goal to achieve. Ofcourse, now that I know how hard it is for me to commit to goals, I've realized that I need to work harder at it. So, next time I choose a goal I will choose an easier one to achieve. That doesn't mean that I'm not going to finish writing this book, I definitely will!!! -
Things I need to work on
This was supposed to be a goal that I finished by the end of June, but I don't think I'm going to. So, over the summer I'm going to work hard in trying to achieve it, since I'll have more time. -
My favourite thing about my book so far
I think that my favourite thing that I have created in my story, is my main characters name, Esrevinu. I really love her name because I think it really describes her and who she is. I think it's really cool when in stories names have a meaning. -
FOCUS!!!
I have said this in other entries but I really must start focusing! I am going to try my hardest and keep submitting entries, in order that I may start working towards finishing my story. -
Date of Achieving My Goal
I had promised myself before that I would finish writing my book by the end of June. Now, I'm not going to set a date of when I should finish it. I'm just going to work really hard on finishing writing my book untill I do!!!
