    It's about time for a change.

    In 1495 king John, died. King Manuel replaced John.

    The first voyage of the great Ferdinand Magellan.

    As a young year Ferdinand Magellan was thought how to navigate. Magellan's first voyagewas under Vasco da Game.
    Vasco sailed all the way to India.

    We tried to claim that land.

    Ferdinand Magellan took part in a gruesome battle for Malayan of Islands of Malacca the Spainish lost the battle and were forced to retreat.

    This is my idea.

    After King Manuel turned down Megellan's request to find the westward passage and a faster way to Spice island. The King was angry at Megellan so, he denied Megellans request. Megellan sailed to Spain and told the Spanish about his plan. The Spanish King was impressed by Megellan's boldness so, drew up a contract and Megllan signed his name.

    I agree with those terms.

    Part of the contract that Megellan signed included that if Megellan found 6 island he would have part time ownership of those island. The contract also said that Megellan would be provided 5 ships and men and Megellan would get his share of the money if he found Spice island.

    Time to sail.

    In 1519 Ferdinand Magellan set sail from Spain with 5 ships but had to turn back beause 2 of the barrels were filled with sawdust. Magellan order more food and was off again.

    The end of a great life.

    Ferdinand Magellan died in 1521 when a spear pierced his heart. Magellan was killed instantly.

    The great return.

    In 1522 the Victoria arrived in Seville. Only only 18 men that started the journey lived till the end of the journey. After the journey some sailers went to a chruch and said some word about Megellan.
