A bunch of colonists dressed up as indians and poured buckets of tea into the water in an act of defiance. -
1st Continental Congress
The 1st continental congress was a meeting made up of a delegate from all but 2 colonies to talk about what they are going to do about Great Britain. -
Lexington & Concord
The battle of Lexington happened by accident. British soldiers were on their way to Concord to find a stach of weopons the colonists were hiding. In Lexington which is on the way to Concord soldiers were at aa standoff. Then, someone fired a gun and everyone started firing and no one knows who fired first. -
Declaration of Independence
The continental congress sign a document made by Thomas Jefferson that says why the colonists want to break all ties with Great Britain.
