ELO International Award Silver/Gold

  • The first day of IA Silver/Gold

    • Divided by three groups of about 15 people.
    • Started hiking from 3000 m high mountain in Chengdu
    • Heavy bag (about 30 kg) and steep mountain road
    • Lack of oxygen due to the high altitude
    • One of my friends went down to the lodge due to the high altitude sickness
  • The second day of IA Silver/Gold

    • Woke up early in the morning
    • Kept hiking to the mountain
    • Decide to keep hiking because two more students were sick of the high altitude sickness
    • Hiked until to the big lake
    • Set the camp nearby the lodge
  • The last day of IA Silver/Gold

    • Woke up in the middle of the night because of the heavy rain (about 1:45 a.m.)
    • Struggled whether how we should pull down or wait until the rain stops.
    • Helped each other to pull down the tent
    • Went to the lodge around 7 a.m.
    • Took a bath and came back to the school through the train
