    Edict of Milan is passed by the eastern and western empires. Legalizes Christianity.

    Constatine defeats Licinius the eastern emperor. He becomes the sole emperor of Rome. Continues with Dioclesians economic reforms and continues to promote christianity.

    Constatine meets with church council members to determine orthodox faith. Arianism, the heretic form of christianity, dies out.
