Peace Day was introduced.
The portfolio, that stores information, documents, assessments and tasks throughout the school year, and the written report about the portfolio, that is based on the design cycle, are both due on this day. On the same date, the Peace Day unit was introduced to the class. -
Stand-alone Presentation
A stand-alone presentation hat contains information, such as, the significant dates in September, and highlighting Peace Day. I chose to make a video. -
Investigate!
Mr. Luke seperated us into groups.
Working in those small groups, we were told to brainstorm at least 10 ideas, on activites/presentations that would associate with Peace Day. -
Begin Project
My group (Shane, HwanJin and I) were ready to start filming, as our design specifications and design brief was already completed. I wrote a storyboard for the video, and we started filming. I have also made sure that they are aware of the storyboard and the purposes of the video. We have all discussed about the settings and details of the presentation. When we began shooting the video, we took many takes, as it's our first time. Therefore, it did not go so well. -

This date was the second class that we have attempted filming. -
And continuing...
This was the third class that we have spent filming. So it was really successful and we filmed most of the video. -
Process Journal
The class spent 30 minutes to start on their process journals, based on the design cycle. The rest of the time that is spared, could be used as time for Create. -
Launching Product
The last lesson of the unit. This day is to launch the product, and present it to the whole class. -
Evaluating & Reporting
During this lesson, Mr. Luke will explain the details further of the stage "Evaluate", the last stage of the design cycle. We will be continuing our report. -

We have finally presented our video, we got the feedbacks, but it was not according to plan, as we had only presented it to our class. -
