Darwin's Voyage

  • Charles Darwin was invited to be a voyager on the Beagle.

    He accpeted, being the naturalist on board.
  • Darwin's father refused to let him go on the voyage, however after a few days, he finally accpeted.

    The ban from being on the voyage lasted until September 1st 1831.
  • The voyage started, and Darwinf began to get used to being on the ship. Finding places to rest and study.

  • Santa Cruz sickness preventing Darwin from visiting, as it was a place he had wanted to go.

  • They approached Brazil, mostly a dense rainforest in Salvador. Darwin explored the rainforest for long periods of time throughout the days.

  • Darwin collected a ton of plants and insects that he had longed to discover and brought them aboard the ship. Surprised as he had known that a letter was received from London.

  • Darwin Discovers Galapagos, a vast island with interesting creatures.
