Claude Shannon builds the first machine that plays chess. Everyone thought this invetion at the time was really cool. Claude Shannon ended up inveting alot more and got awarded dozens of prizes. -
The first computer game
The first computer game Spacewar Computer Game invented BY Steve Russell & MIT. It is a two-player game, with each player taking control of a spaceship and attempting to destroy the other. Spacewar to play: a star in the centrer of the screen pulls on both ships and requires maneuvering to avoid falling into it. In an emergency, a player can enter hyperspace to return at a random location on the screen, but only at the risk of exploding if it is used too often. -
