    US Creates and Tests The Hydrogen Bomb
    The US created the Hydrogen Bomb, once when they knew that the Soviets tested an atomic bomb. President Truman made the decision to develop the hydrogen bomb in 1950. In June of 1948, the Soviets blocked access to Berlin which threatened 2 million Berliners with starvation, so the US and Britain started the movement of non-nuclear Air Force B-29s to the UK. Because of the hostility in Europe, the US built a long-range atomic deterrent force.

    The Bay of Pigs Invasion
    It started when a CIA-Financed trained a group of Cuban Refugees that landed in Cuba that tried to topple the communist government, Fidel Castro. Fidel Castro has been a huge concern to the US since he had all the power in Cuba. When Cuba wanted a closer relationship with the Soviet Union, the US knew that this was a threat to the Americans. President Dwight Eisenhower had the CIA arm a force of Cuban exiles to attack Cuba. On April 17, 1961, 1,200 exiles went to the shore at the Bay Of Pigs.

    There was heavy machinery rumbling down the streets that divided up the eastern and western parts of the city in Berlin on August 13th, 1961. The Berlin wall was a symbol of the Iron Curtain that divided communism and democracy in Europe and it is one of the most powerful symbols of the Cold War. The Soviets built another wall in 1962 behind the Berlin wall to keep the "fascists" away. The main reason for the Berlin wall was to keep "Fascists" from entering East Germany.

    There was a coalition of 6 Caribbean nations that invaded Grenada. This invasion was triggered by the strife of the Peoples Revolutionary Government which made the previous leader of Grenada, Maurice Bishop have house arrest and execution. The invasion remained the country as a democratic nation. Grenada gained independence from the UK in 1974. Bishop wanted communism once when he became the leader of Grenada and he suspended the constitution which detained many political prisoners.

    German Reunification/Fall of Berlin Wall
    On November 9th, 1989, there was a pivotal event that caused the fall of the Berlin Wall. It also started the fall of communism in Eastern and Central Europe. The German Democratic Republic was triggered by the decay of the other communist regimes in Europe and the Soviet Union. East & West Germany made the reunification official on October 3rd, 1990. A year after the Berlin Wall fell. Germany's lack of business production affected the GDP which also affected the economy after the Reunification
