    After the north refused to give up their fort of Fort Sumter. The south attacked. After a day of fighting, the north tried to surrender and the south declined and bombarded again. Finally the south accepted a second surrender and won the war.

    Once the south built an iron clad, they sent it up Hampton Roads. As they were going, they were met by a northern ironclad. After the first ironclad engagement. The virginia retreated and the Union won.

    After a very unstrategic suprise attack by the south a very even batte was fought. Soon the south took over and Grants army was at the point of failure. but then General Buell Arrived and helped come back to defeat the south.

    Lincoln issued this bill to free all the slaves in the south. It didnt work because some places were too far for the army to inforce. In the end The Emancipation Proclamation was used as military action.

The battle lasted two days and the Union won and made this battle a turning point in the war. After this battle, Abe Lincoln gave one of his most famous speeches...The Gettysburg Address which only lasted about 2 minutes
