    England banned all colonists from settling west from the appalachain mountians. This angered the colonists and the the proclomation was widely ignored.They felt they had a right to move into the land they fought for.

    British soldiers were allowed to stay in any home they wanted and the colonists were forced to feed them. Many colonists refused to house soldiers and felt it was an invasion of privacy.

In reality the colonists were threatening soldiers and hitting the soldiers with sticks.This is due to paul reveres engraving which held many inaccuracies.This engraving was meant to create support for the revolution.
