    In 1893, he received a first-class B.A. degree in Mathematics from Trinity College, Cambridge. In 1895, he received a fellowship from Trinity College after his essay on the foundations of Geometry.

    While Bertrand Russell published over 100 essays and books, all of which helped to distinguish his career, one of those books stand out as being his most influential: The Principles of Mathematics. In Russell’s book The Principles of Mathematics, he argued his thesis and stated that logic and mathematics are identical. This is also the book he published that introduced “Russell’s paradox”, a discovery by Russell that showed a contradiction to Georg Cantor’s naïve set theory.
