    Democritus

    Democritus
Democritus was born in Abdera Greese in 460BC. He studied natural philosophy in Thrace, Athens, and Abdera, Greece. 1.All matter consists of invisible particles called atoms.
    2. Atoms are indestructible.
    3. Atoms are solid but invisible.
    4. Atoms are homogenous.
    5. Atoms differ in size, shape, mass, position, and arrangement.
->Solids are made of small, pointy atoms.
->Liquids are made of large, round atoms.
->Oils are made of very fine, small atoms that can easily slip past each other.
  • Dalton

    Dalton
John Dalton was an english chemist. this is his theroy
    1) All matter is made of atoms. Atoms are indivisible and indestructible. 2) All atoms of a given element are identical in mass and properties 3) Compounds are formed by a combination of two or more different kinds of atoms.
  • Thomson Model

    Thomson Model
Joseph John Thomson discovered the electron after many experiments. in 1904 he created a model and he proved his theroy with expieriments using a cathode ray tube.
  • Rutherford atomic theroy

    Rutherford atomic theroy
Ernest Rutherford atomic theory leads to his belief that an atom was mostly empty space. He believed the atom had a central nucleus. This nucleus was surrounded by electrons that were negative and orbited the atom.
  • bohr model

    bohr model
Bohrs theroy was, an electron can be viewed in two ways, either as a particle or as a wave, but never both at the same time.
  • Modern Atomic Theroy

    Modern Atomic Theroy
similar to bohrs model with a little tweaks is the modern theroy model
