    The Articles of Confederation was written by the first Continental Congress and was the first attempt at a Constitution. However, there were many flaws with the Articles and basically allowed for as many laws as the people wanted but with no way for them to be enforced.

    The Battle of Yorktown is the battle where Cornwallis was cornered by American troops and eventually surrendered. This battle ended any British hope for victory and also ended the Revolutionary War.
