Prince Henry The Navigator
Prrince Henry the navigator he was son of the king of Portugal. Henry set up the first European school for navigators in Sagres, Portugal. He sent parties of explorers south along Africa's west coast, they discovered the the Gold Coast and Cape Verde. -

He saw the Bahamas ans=d sailed around there then one of his ships got wrecked and he sailed back to Spain on the Nina. -
