A New Beginning
Wikispaces was a trademarked word on January 29th, 2005, and created on March 4th, 2005. For now, Wikispaces remained mainly teacher/K-12 oriented, and few people even knew it existed, if any at all.If anything important happened during this duration,none of the current members are now around to tell the story. -
The Coast looks Good
The Wikispaces Team expands as a result of James Byers and Adam Frey succeeding at hiring several designers and tech kiddies. This is where wikispaces started to go uphill. -

Artemis-Fowl makes a lot of spare accounts
It's unknown why he started making so many accounts, likely in fear that he'd be banned due to some excessive scripting, the Great War, the innapropriate contented Open Chat, or a combination of all three; he was getting prepared for something. -
Denetine joins Wikispaces
Denetine was a pretty normal person who joined apparently just for kicks. He started writing at this time and you can see some of his writing on his profile page, and he has a few links to his stories on the page "Member Bios". -
AwesomenessGurls1 joins Wikispaces
Althought it's not known how she came to wikispaces, what is known is that she's still around today and that she was inactive for most of her first member years. She's friends with Wonderlandwhat, enjoys the Hunger Games, and has made two wikis about the series. She joined Vitamin C right around the time that activity skyrocketed. -

The Great Migration
More users began to join as an update made the wikis intravenously more usable for normal clubs or groups. Once the hype was over in the fall, most remained quiet. We see by data that most of our old users who were by coincedence also members of the Open Chat seemed to have joined around this time. -
Artemis-Fowl joins...technically
User Artemis-Fowl makes the account smiraniC, who will become important later in our story. It is important to mention he's like 11 or 12 at this time...the same age I am now. What can I say? -
Spud-meister joins Wikispaces
I don't know much about him except that he used to post here and that he's an Aussie. -
TOXIN joins Wikispaces
TOXIN joined wikispaces around the same time that Artemis did, and though he's had a few quirks here and there (hell, he's one of the people who took down Red's wiki), he still remains a member of Vitamin C and seems to prefer posting in peace now. A fun fact about him is that a lot of people don't realize that his picture is of Venom from Spiderman. -
The Open Chat is created (most likely)
It's believed that the Open Chat Forum was created circa late October as a result of a stable userbase, and people willing to create it. -

The Open Chat Period
For now, most wikis stuck to at most about 50 members, but the open chat forum lived for a year and recieved over 222,000 user posts; no wiki yet has achieved even 100,000 posts, until one day it abruptly was closed for mateniance. -
Evil-Chicken joins wikispaces
On this day, a chicken grew sentient and decided to harass the world of wikifarming. Go figure. -
Emtay13 joins Wikispaces
Emtay joined this day. Although I (Sam) don't know much about her, I do know that she likes talking in sophisicated english, and is what you'd call a grammar nazi. -
Silver-Rain joins Wikispaces
He used to post here frequently, until he got stabbed in real life and he might have not made it, but we're all glad he's still alive. He has been inactive for nearly 8 months. -

A legacy begins
It's predicted that Fowl had joined the Open chat under the name smiraniC at first, then discarded that account for a newer one, so on January 22th, 2008, the Artemis-Fowl account was created. People such as amoebios, Denetine, Dog-Crap,ellenkt, spud-meister xxSilencedxx, xxAaron94xx, Ephemeral, ever-lasting-love, Sammie3634 Emtay13, emylou, TOXIN, and (we'll call her my chemical romance girl) were active before, during, and after the Open Chat. -
eldiablo joins Wikispaces
Although he is no longer active, he started a war and was thoroughly obsessed with Halo. The war only lasted a few weeks and nobody really did anything. -
Adriana333 joins Wikispaces.
All I know about her is that she liked to spam happy face wherever she went. -

The Great Wikispaces War of 2008
Although not truly an actual "war", it's the only of its type to have happened. Get this; it started because user Artemis-Fowl accused Gamergod351 of stealing a fairy cake, of which he reacted to almost childishly by swearing twice. Thus began a great war, where there was an equal amount of praisers and criticsizers on either side, and the goal was to fight verbally and attempt to delete wikis. -

The death of the Open Chat
The death of the Open Chat by way of admin intervention saw the establishments of many great wikis (some of which already existed) such as, Substitution WIki, Space-R, Jesuspaces, Off-Topic, and Fowl Dungeons. The grieving period ended about the same time that the Great Wikispaces War of 2008 ended. -
TOXIN deletes Substitution Wiki
Once the hype was over, all was stable again and wikis returned to a standstill, however TOXIN somehow managed to become an Organizer of Substitution and delete it. Many users attempted to avert him, but to no avail. This is when Vitamin C was born. -
Vitamin C is born
Because they no longer had a main wiki, Fowl took the liberty of creating Vitamin C, a new haven for the Open Chat Wikispacers. At its prime, the Sub Wiki would generate nearly 50 unique users each day and almost twelve times the posts, so it was a shock to all. However, Substitution wiki was brought back, even thought Vitamin C is still in use today. -

Interreginum
For about two years nothing major had happened on Wikispaces. Users came and went, wikis were made and deleted, and posting was done by the same people it had always been done by. During this time, a lot of the main users today had created their accounts. Around Late Dec-Early Feb 2011, new users started coming in, such as -red-, AwesomenessGurls1, Wodnerlandwhat, and champed (known then as Gabe_is_z_best_55). It would be some time until the main poster, sam-equals-awesome, showed up. -

Another migration
More newer users began to find wikispaces, and it breeded a new generation of Wikispacers, from the broad viewpoint of it. -
-Red- joins Wikispaces
Red joined wikispaces for the same reason most people did; school. It was for a school newspaper, but after he was done with his school newspaper work, he began seeking other members and eventually found users Fireplayer and Deadlytime (read: they change usernames often and they go by Alice and Bella) on different wikis. He has quite a history with his wiki, the new sandbox, being destroyed by hostiles. -
zeldapwnsthealphebet joins Wikispaces
zpa is a close friend of Red's, and in fact, they live near by each other and go to the same school together, and it was red who recommended him to join. He's met a lot of friends since then and a lot of people wished he would come on more. -
SilverKanade joins Wikispaces
She joined wikispaces because she wanted to find good anime wikis, and she is relatively friendly. Other than that, I know little about her. -
Sam-equals-Awesome joins Wikispaces
At this time, Sam had joined due to his 3rd grade teacher showing her kids Wikispaces, and he's the only one out of 20 to still use it today, however he had drawn many friends to as long as June 2011 to use it. He has two friends of his who still technically use it, it'll be explained later. -
Champed joins Wikispaces
His account was clearly made at a party and they put a picture of selena gomez drinking sweet tea. He never really had good punctuation and has been inactive for about 4 months now. He liked conspiracies, and was incredibly gullible; but nothing compared to his cousin, Suckerpunch. -
Wonderlandwhat joins Wikispaces
As a friend of AwesomenessGirls1, it was a red and zpa kind of thing, where they knew each other, went to the same school, Awesomeness recommended wikispaces,etc. But she had no account, so she made one. She hasn't come on recently as of June 28th, 2012. -

A posting spree, and hitting 10k and 20k in one year
Although not a lot of time was given, the Vitamin C wikispacers managed to reach two milestones that had not been previously reached in the two previous years that the wiki had existed. This was after of course all the members found the wiki. The main posters were Sam-equals-awesome, -red-, Wonderlandwhat, AwesomenessGirls1, champed, and Artemis-Fowl. -
PeggySue joins Wikispaces
Apparently a teenage mother whose account was vandalised by her younger sister, causing her image to look bad, however she is a nice person if you meet her. -

The Present
Picking up where we left off, the story of our Wikispacers seems almost like a true story to somebody who didn't know how it works. I spent like 2 hours of my time making this, and getting data at the same time,so I hope you enjoy it. -

As a frequent poster, it's believed that he joined using the school method, and he replies to nearly every post that had been bumped during the day. -
MrsAbbyHoran joins wikispaces...err, not quite
The reason for the title is that she had another account and it got deleted, but I can't find record of it anywhere, and she never really used it, so for now she had joined at this time. -
