    The Boche
Wilfred Owen and his servants found an old Boche dug-out, it gave them hell, for the frantic shells were falling fast and there were alot of them. They hammered down but never burst through into the dug-out. The rain was coming in fast and was covering the steps. The smell in the dug-out was awful and smelt like whizz-bangs and rotten corpses.

    Blast in the Face
They then heard a massive bang and then a Sentry got thrown in and after him came his backpack full of his stuff. He fell into the mud and started to get stuck in the mud, so quickly Wilfred Owen pulled the Sentry out. The Sentry then said that he couldn't see anything. Wilfred Owen then held a candle to his eyes and asked him if he could see even the faintest blur of light, but the Sentry couldn't see a thing. Owen still had nightmares about what his eyes look like.

    Light of Hope fades
The other wretches they bled and they spewed, one who would have drowned himself for good. Wilfred Owen tried not to remember these things, he let the dread hark back for one word only. Half- listening to Sentry's moans and jumps, he was chattering his broken teeth, he renewed most horribly whenever crumps. Pummelled the roof and slogged the air beneath, through the dense din, I say, they heard him shout " I see you lights!" But theirs had faded.
