Prohibition begins
Ratified in 1919, the eighteenth amendment prohibited the consumption, sell, or manufacture of liquids of intoxification. Exactly one year after it was ratified, the eighteenth amendment took affect making all procerdures that have anything to do with using alcohol illegal. -
Teapot Dome Scandal
Based form oil reserves, it was known as Teapot Dome because one of the main reserves was located in Teapot Dome, Wyoming. Civilians added the name scandal because oil was only allowed for the U.S. Navy to lease, sell use, store, etc, courtesy of President Taft and Harding. -
President Coolidge is elected
Coolidge was a lawyer from Vermaont who was elected not long after he gained fame from his actions at the Boston Police Strike.
When officially getting office in 1923, he became the 30th President of the U.S. -
"The Spirit of St. Louis" starts its flight
Lindbergh, originally in St. Louis, started in New York with the hope of achieving the goal of flying all the way to Paris. -
"The Spirit of St. Louis" ends its flight
Eventually after 33 hours and 30 minutes later, Lindenberg landed in Paris with all the Spirit of St. Louis with him. -
President Hoover is elected
Hoover became the 31st president of the U.S. with him coming in just a little before the stock market crashed, bringing the economy down with it. He did many things to try to help, but in the end he failed to settle the economy again, making a numerous amount of the nation angry tat their leader they had looked up to. -
Black Tuesday
The serious economic downfall, the stock market crash. This had started mainly because of two things. 1) Farmers grew more crops after WW2, even though it became less needed, so farmers got less pay leading to much money out of the governments pocket. 2) Many people started doubting their banks so civilians striped banks of their money, eventually leading to them shutting down. -
Dust Bowl Beginning
This monster started because farmers had dug up almost all of the top soil for crops. With no grass to stop the dirt, it started with wind, gradually growing with the help of static electricity. -
Hawley-Smoot Tariff Act
It was a proposed tax on imported goods so the U.S. economy could enhance money value. -
Bonus Army March
Much of these angry ccitizens were veterans from WW1 wanting their bonus money early. Although Congress granted their money to be early, President Hoover vetoed the bill saying most didn't need their money early. -
President Franklin D. Roosevelt is elected
Franklin D. Roosevelt was the 32 president of the United States left to clean up the mess Hoover made of the economy. He thought of and created Acts and Corps to help civilians out of this economic downfall. -
Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA)
As part of the New Deal, Tennessee Valley Authority was a government corporation to improve the economy of the state. -
Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC)
It was a large salvage operation with the destiny to be the greatest experiment of the New Deal. -
FDIC
Was established to promote public assurance and foster the financial system stbility through safe banking terms. -
Prohibition ends
The 21st amendment was ratified by 36 states. Enough to approve state majority to repeal the 18th amendment. -
Works Progress Administration
WPA employed millions of people for public work projects such as constructing roads or bridges, although many projects were large. It became the largest New Deal agency. -
Social Security Act
With many people being dissapointed with the government's actions after the Great Depression, many people joined "Townsend clubs" for monthly $200 pensions for citizens over 60. -
Dust Bowl end
At the end, land is restored to its natural state and land flurished again. -

The War starts after Germany decides to invade Poland for power and authority
