Moving out.
We moved from our old house to our current one. I like this one better, but I still miss the other one. My lifestyle changed because the other house had more of a backyard that way I spent more time outside. -
When Julia moved out of the country.
It was a sad momen for me because she had been one of my best friends for five years. Even after she moved, we kept talking every now and then. Also, she visited every summer and I visited every winter. -
My trip with Julia on cruise.
Julia was spending a couple of days at my house so instead of leaivng all alone in the airplane, she left with us by cruise. -
My grandfather's death.
A sad moment dor all of us; however, being one of the first losses I had to face, it showed me that life goes on. I learned that life must come to an end, and that's why we must try to get the most out of our lives. As Robert Frost once said:
"In three words I can sum pu everything I've learned about life: it goes on." -
Performing "Snow White & the 7 dwarves"
This one I consider one of the major events in the study of ballet becaus it was my first one using pointe shoes. -
My trip to Disney with Julia.
I even remember when they told us she was going with us. We were at her house in Miami and her brother came in and told us, "Don't tell anyone bue I heard Mom and Dad say that you guys were going to Orlando." We were so excited and we had such a great time! -
My cousin's death.
Though he wasn't very close to me, it came as a shock. It showed me how someone may not be too close, but he's still family. He still has an effect on my life. -
My trip with all my sisters to Disney.
We made a trip with most part of my family in which I got closer to all of them. -
My first trip to NYC.
The fist time I went to NYC, I went with my mom, my sister, my niece and my brother in law. I got so much closer to this part of my family and I had a great time. -
Performing "Sleeping Beauty"
I've been practicing ballet ever since I was a little girl. I've had my highs and lows. While practicing for "La Bella Durmiente," I gave my best and this effor was rewarded. I had lost part of my love for ballet and with this performance it came back. Also, my teachers recognized my effort and I earned more important parts. -
Being valedictorian in the 8th grade prom.
I was chosen, along with Paola, as the class valedictorian. We gave a speech and I was so nervous, but all in all, it was a great experience. -
My trip to France with Julia and Nicole.
I went on my first trip to Europe in a camp. There were 20 other dominicans and we spent three weeks in France. -
When Julia moved back.
Fortunately, my friend moved back. She now goes to the same school as I do. We still are best friends and get together almost everyday! -
Model UN participation.
This was my frist time and I loved it. It was something in which I took a risk and put effort on to have great rewards. Thanks to that, I am now looking forward to goin to my third one in NYC. -
Starting practice for a solo!
The teacher informed us that me and one of my friends were going to start training for becoming solo dancers. -
Thrid best score on PSAT.
This was a huge step towards my career goals in the future because it's a preparation to a much bigger test which has a lot of weight on wether I get into college or not. As long as I keep on a good job, I'm looking pretty good! -
My trip with Arlette & Camille.
We went on a cruise to Miami, stayed one week at Orlando and then another one at Miami, and finally came back on a cruise. We had a great time!
