Latin meaning 'Hammer of witches". a guidebook about witches, and information about witchcraft. Written by Heinrich Kramer, a German. Jacob Sprenger also considered an author of the book but only contributing small amounts of information, not sure. -

Ferdinand Magellan famously completes the first circumnavigation of the globe.
First sail from the atlantic, to the pacific ocean. Magellan actually did not complete the journey himself for he had been killed in an earlier battle in the philipines(along with much of his crew). From the start to end more men died than lived on this journey, but he was the first man to 'circumnavigate' the world. -

He publishes his masterpiece 'On the Revolutions of Celestial Bodies'. This piece was dedicated to the Pope(Pope Paul III). This book is giving a different point of veiw other than that which had been previously accepted amoung people. Overall the book is about the universe, and things relative to that and or pertaining to the earth. -

Erasmus Reinhold publishes his Prutenic Tables
"..which for many astronomers replaced the outdated efforts associated with the Alphonsine Tables". There tables were extremely useful for a good amount of time until Keplers tables came up which were newer and more advanced. -
Properties of Gravity Demonstrated
Demonstrated by Galileo Galilei. The demonstration was at the top of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. This experiment was done and proven by using a one pound weight and comparing the speed at which it fell to a one hundred pound weight dropped at the same time. -
