After not being able to accept defeat German dictator Adolph HItler commited suicide instead of surrendering to the Allies. -
VE DAY
A.K.A victory in Europe day. This is when the Allies announced the surrender of Germany. -
ATOMIC BOMB DROPPED ON HIROSHIMA
First ever use of the atomic bomb(Little boy) a nearly 10,000 pound bomb dropped by the B-29 bomber Enola Gay, which was named after the pilots mother Enola Gay. -
ATOMIC BOMB DROPPED ON NAGASAKI
This was the second atomic bomb dropped on Japan in attempt to make them surrender. -

Japan surrenders to the allied forces, therfore ending WW2.
