  • Battle Of Lexington and Concord

    The first skirmish between the colonists and British. The British defeat the colonists at Lexington, but at Concord, they retreat. The militia was firing at them through the wood as they ran back to Boston. Though this was the first of the fighting, it wasn't the start of the war.
  • Battle of Bunker Hill

    As The British retreated they went to Bunker Hill and created a makeshift fort. After realizing the militia was no longer after them, they left leaving the entrenchment empty. Months later, the British attck and the colonists use it to their advantage. The colonists kill many more British, but surrender because they run out of ammunition.
  • Battle of Montreal

    Figuring they defeated the British with ease. The colonists attack montreal and take control with ease. They then plan to attack Quebec.
  • Battle of Quebec

    Figuring they could win Quebec like Montreal, the colonists march to Quebec hoping for vitory. Unforunately for them, the British are able to resist their attacks and win.
  • British move to New York

    The British leave their fort in Boston and head to Nwe York, where they create a new outpost.
  • Battle of Long Island

    George Washington knew this attack was coming but decided to wait for the british to come. Greatly outnumbered, Washington retreats from Manhatten.
  • Battle of White Plains

    General Washington was ready for another attack on the British, but again lost, losing around 250 men.
  • Battle of Trenton

    Washington leads his men across Delaware and is able to pull off a ictory of the British at Trenton. Because of their victory, it boosted the soldiers morale.
  • Battle of Princeton

    Wshington leads his soldiers to Princeton and attacks the British. He kills many enemies and caused almost all of the British soldierss to flee from Jersey.
  • Battle of Ticonderoga

    The British easily take this fort beacause the americans had fled the forst earlier.
  • Battle of Fort Stanwix

    The americans won this battle despite being outnumbered. A turnning factor was how Arnold said there were reinforcments coming, but there really weren't
  • Battle of Brandywine

    The British won this battle and despite many losses on both sides.
  • Battle of Saratoga

    Gen. Burgoyne is defeated at Saratoga when he is expected victory.
  • Battle of Saratoga

    Gen. Burgoyne is expected victory and is defeated. The americans win this battle.
  • Battle of Monmouth

    Washingtons soldiers are beaten by the harsh cold winter. Then both american and british sides with many soldiers fight. Because of Washington's troops poor condition, they lose the battle.
