  • Battle of Ticonderoga

    British General James Abercromby assaulted the French defenses on the Ticonderoga Peninsula in New York.
  • Battles of Lexington and Concord

    These battkes were the first military engagements of the American Revolution.Took place in Middlesex
    County,Province of Massachusetts Bay, in the towns of Lexington, Concord, Lincoln, Menotomy,and Cambridge.These fights showed the outbreak of conflict between the Kingdom of Great Britain and its thirteen colonies surrounded by the Mainland of British North America.
  • Battle of Bunker Hill

    Happening shortly after the Boston Tea Party,the Americans joined forces from the thirteen colonies and took over Bunker Hill. This battle was the Britsh military led by General Gage, fighting against the Americans'. The British had a very powerful and strong army, but lossed many men.
  • Battle of The Trenton

    Americans were forced by the British to leave New York and were sent to the West side of the Delaware. Washington finished his attack of Hessian at Trenton on the South end over the British line of the Delaware. He had 2400 men from Virginia, Delaware, Pensylvania, New Hampshier , Massachusetts, Conncecticut and New York. The winner of this battle was Washington and his American troops.
  • Battle of Bennington

    British commander Burgoyne sent a force, near the Connecticut River to gathersupplies. in the mean time, Lieutenant Colonel Fredrich Baum planned to head towards Bennington. John Stark led the American forces, while the British fought against the American forces and makeshift fortifications. The result was very intense and took many lives with no winner.
  • Battle of Saratoga

    John Burgoyne came up with a plan to defeat the Americans. He moved down the Hudson River Corridor, letting Colonel Barry St. Leger move East of Lake Onterio.

  • Battle of Camden

    Horatio Gates commanded a force of 1,400, which was strengthened by patriot troops from North Carolina and Virginia. British General Cornwalis met the American forces at Camden, with 3,000 men. When the Carolina line fell, it resulted in the crumbling of the American forces, who were forced to retreat.

  • Battle of Yorktown

    General Cornwalis arrived in Yorktown and gathered a naval base. With a helping hand from General Washington, French forces were joined together and surrounded the British. Leaving the loss to them, the Americans' won again.
