After the fight, Benvolio talks to Romeo and finds out that he is sad because he is in love with Rosaline, but she doesn't love him back

Lady Capulet asks Juliet about Paris

Lady Capulet asks Juliet if she likes Paris and asks her if she would marry him. Juliet says that marriage is a duty she doesn't want but says she will look at him at the party

Capulet's Party

Capulet sends his servant to tell everyone on the guest list about the party he's having. He can't read and runs into Romeo and Benvolio and asks Romeo to read the list, then invites him to the party. Romeo is ooposed to going but goes anyway because he see's that Rosaline will be there

Romeo, Benvolio, and Mercutio go to the party

They crash the party wearing masks. Romeo claims he doesn't want to dance because he is heartbroken. Romeo see's juliet and kisses her

Paris Wants to Marry Juliet

Paris asks Capulet for Juliet's hand in marriage, but capulet says that she is too young

The Prince comes and says that if the two families disturb the peace again, it will cost them their lives
