  • Sand Creek Massacre

    Sand Creek Massacre
    It was at the Rocky Mountains in Colorado and Kansas. It involved the Cheyenne, Arapahos, Sioux, Kiowas indians. Chivington and his troops were also involved. The Gold and Silver Rush was the cause of the massacre cause it brought white men that were surrounding theie land. More than 150 indians lay dead most of them were old men, women, and childeren. The white men won. After everything was done a wildfire swept the land and peace retured only after a quater of a century.
  • Fetterman Massacre

    Fetterman Massacre
    The massacre was in Wyoming. The Souix, Lakota indains and the white men where involved. The armt troops were manning a fort on the Bozemen Trailwhich was used by people to get to the gold mines in Montana. The Souix leader acted as a decoy which lured the troops into a trap. Hundereds of warriors were waiting and ambushed the troops. The indians/warriors won the massacre. It was a very bloody massacre.
  • Treaty of Fort Laramie

    Treaty of Fort Laramie
    This took place in Wyoming. It was between the native Americans and whit men. It was to bring peace between them and niether of them really won.
  • 1874 Discovery

    1874 Discovery
    It happend up in the Dakotas (Black Hills). Ofcourse the white men and indians were involved. The reason the white men went up there was to get gold. It was important becase the gold was in the hills from root down. The winners are the induans.
  • Battle of Little Big Horn

    Battle of Little Big Horn
    It took place in Montana (Little big Horn River). The indains and white men were involved. The US army was orderd to put the Native Americans into resorvations. The reason it was important was the it was short-lived and the army crushed the uprising. The one to win was the white men.
  • Ghost Dance

    This took place in South Dakota. The indians and whit me nwere involved again. This was a dance that expressed the indians culture. The resorvation officals decided to ban the dance. The white men won.
  • Wounded Knee

    Wounded Knee
    This was in South Dakota at a river called Wounded Knee. The whit men and the Souix indains were both involved. The army went to take all the weapon. No one knows how the fightinf started but that there was a gun shot. There was 200 souix dead and 25 soliders dead, the white men won.
