    William Bradford's Loss
Did William Bradford's wife jump or fall off the ship?
I think she slipped off of the boat because she knew that is she committed suicide that she would go to Hell. Also, she would be ruining the long trip she already took to get to America. She would be leaving William and her son they had to leave in the Netherlands.
  • Mary Rowlandson: What were Mary's feelings towards the Indians?

Mary Rowlandson: What were Mary's feelings towards the Indians?
I think she had mixed emotions about them. At some times, she didn't like the Indians because the Indians didn't help her baby when he/she needed help. The baby was sick and he/she got no help at all. Also, the Indians didn't give her good portions of food or water. She was almost starving at many points in the story. Also, I think she liked the Indians because they treated her very well at some times. When they buried her baby, I think that they did a good thing by burying him/her.

Also, when the Indians comforted her by giving her food when she thought they were going to kill her.
