How was William Bradford able to accomplish his goal?
William Bradford was a very courageous person. He was very hard working and the kind of person who never gives up. He was a leader, and was adored by many. He is very well known for his accoomplishment in the Mayflower Compact to find a new land for the pilgrims so they can express their religion freely. On their way to their destination, they came across a few problems but he had great leadership which is the reason they found the new world. -

How did Mary Rowlandson feel when she was captured and taken in as a hostage?
I think Mary Rowlandson was probably very afraid, nervous, and miserable as to what would happen not only to her but to her children as well. She was really worried about her kids and her youngest one had already died on her own lap when he was only 6 years and five months old. "I must and could lie down by my dead babe, side by side all the night after." Her other 2 children were taken away, which made her miserable.
