    Joseph Typology Part 1

Joseph is sold into slavery by his brothers. This connects with the NT because without Josephs help with his dreams he could not have saved all those people in Egypt. If God didn't guide Joseph, Jesus would not be on Earth at all because Jesus was not born. This also connects to the NT because of the location. In the NT Egypt is mentioned as a place of sin and slavery. In Matthew 2:15 it talks about bringing the people out of Egypt.

  • Personal Reflection

A moment in my life that I could relate to in Genesis 12-24 was when God told Abram that Sarah was going to have a child. I could relate to this moment because when I needed to go to an interview with the acceptance rate of 35%. When my dad told me that I had an interview I was already laughing because I was very sure that I could not be accepted to this school in Australia. But at the end of the interview, the interviewer told me that I was accepted. I relate to Sarah because I laughed.
