Mount Moriah - Abraham Almost Sacrificing Isaac
In this story, Abraham shows strong faith in God. God had given him a son in his old age and then told him to sacrifice the son, Isaac. Abraham obeyed, demonstrating that he believed God could give him yet another son in his old age. This also reflects that God is an almighty God, worthy of Abraham's trust and our trust as well.

    Joseph Typology Part 1

    Joseph Typology Part 1
In Genesis 39, Joseph ran away from Potiphar's wife who was trying to tempt and seduce him (Genesis 39:12). He did this to avoid the temptation and to avoid sinning against God. Similarly, in Matthew 4, Jesus resists Satan's temptation three times, by commanding Satan to leave (Matthew 4:10). Jesus and Joseph both separated themselves from the temptation to avoid falling into sin.

    Malaysia - Personal Reflection
In Genesis 12, God told Abram to leave his hometown, and God would bless him in return for his faith. God similarly called my dad to leave his hometown to minister to China, and my dad obeyed, bringing our whole family to HK. Just like God blessed Abram for his obedience, God blessed our family and continues to bless us in many different ways. He's provided for our every need here, like how He provided for Abram. Of course, there are challenges to our faith, but God blesses us more through them.

God's Covenant With Abraham Being Fulfilled Today
Abraham will have a great name. This is shown today in the fact that at least one-third of all the earth's population have at least heard of the biblical Abraham. These are the Christians and the Muslims, faiths which both include Abraham as a founding father.
