Group Of Seven was a group of artists who were inspired by Canada's land scape. Their paintings were a new type of art and were usually pictures of rivers, mountains, trees etc. They created create a fund for artists to paint, developed a strategy for marketing,travel to aboriginal places to inspire young artists and established a trust fund, for scholarship programs. -

The Chinese Exclusion act was inplace to prevent any more asian immigrants. At first they created a head tax, that only asians had to pay to get into Canada. They realized it wasn't working so they increased the price and eventually ban chinese immigrants. This was a racist, biased and unfair law. This excludes asians for no particular reason. -

Black Tuesday is when the stock market crashed. This was a bad day for everyone who bought stock. They watched their money plummet and many people went in debt. -
