    He was a painter and scultpor in Italy, but also traveled to France. He is most famous for the Mona Lisa which he painted in 1403 to 1407.

    Ghiberti was one of the earliest sculptors of the Renaissance. He developed techniques for showing perspective. He is most famous for the set of bronze doors. He started them in 1403 and completed them in 1424.

    He developed sun-centered theory. The sun-centered theory is a theory that he said the sun was the center of the universe and not earth.Sometime between 1507 and 1515 he completed his theory in Italy.

    William advanced the study of magnetism. William's study of magnetism wasn't noticed until he publish the book De Magnete in England.

    He designed the pendulum clock. His first biographer, Vincenzo Viviani, states that he began his study of pendulums after he watched a suspended lamp swing back and forth in the cathedral of Pisa when he was still a student there. Galileo's first notes on the subject date from 1588, but he did not begin serious investigations until 1602.

    Robert used a microscope to discover plant cells. Robert discoverd the plant cells in London, England.Hooke viewed a thin cutting of cork he discovered empty spaces contained by walls, and termed them pores, or cells which lead to the plant cells.
