    Died in 1374 and became a scholar and a teacher. Also wrote poetry and sonnets to Laura, an imaginary ideal women, They we're considered some of the best poems in literature.

    Considered to be the most brilliant of the Itailian Renaissance. Very educated in languages and poetry who used her wealth to support artists and scholars. She housed writers and sculpters and died in 1539.

    Became very popular in Florence and known for his Madonnas or pictures of the virgin marry. He was hired by the pope to help him beautify the vatican. He painted Frescoes in the papal chambers. He died in 1520.
