In 1950went to work for the City of Chula Vista, as an engineer and was appointed the City Engineer from 1951 till 1955. He was also the city's Chief Administrative Officer from 1953 till 1955. He worked for the city until retiring again in 1961. -

Retired again, this time from the city of Chula Vista and worked thereafter as a consulting engineer until his passing in 1969 -
