    Japan invades Manchuria to expand land and because they are trying to help spread communism. Japan later invades China for the same reasons and to help stop Western democracy. This could be considered the start to WWII because of early battle before Hitler invaded Poland.

    Hitler starts to gain power by growing his nationalist group called the Nazis. He turns Germany into a military Dictatorship, and started to preach that Germans were the superior race, specifically Aryans. He thought that only Aryans were superior and discriminated against other races, he lead the people to become very nationalist and believe they were superior.

    The bombing of Pearl Harbor was very important because it brought the US into the war. The US officially declared war on Japan after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. After the US declared war on Japan, Italy and Germany also declared war on the US. This was the Axis powers vs the Allies powers.

    This event was significant because it lead to the downfall of the Axis powers. Nazis had a big loss in North Africa, and later the Allied Powers liberated Italy from the Nazis.

    D-Day was when the Allied Powers invaded German forces, and they fought against the Germans. The Allied Powers used their advanced air, land, and sea powers against the Germans. Later they conquered Paris back from the Nazi powers.

    Victory Day in Europe was practically the ending of WWII. Victory Day was the Allied Powers celebrating the victory against Germany, wasn't the official end of WWII but was a closing to WWII.

    The Nuremberg war crimes were punishing specific Nazis that did numerous crimes, the Allied powers killed these specific people for all the harm they did. These were significant because they later helped create the idea of international courts.
