    On this day Germany began bombing Great Britain a lot, which caused Great Britain to fire back. The war lasted three and a half months and Great Britain ended up winning. More than 1700 German Airplanes were lost and Great Britain lost 1250 planes.

    This battle had way more casualties than most in the war. There was an estimated 2 million military and civilian casualties total. This was important to the war because Germany saw this crucial to their conquest for Southern Russia.

    This battle lasted from June(1944) to August(1944). It required a lot of planning because it was one of the largest military assaults in history. After Allies had reached seine river they were able to liberate Paris.

    The bombed dropped on HIroshima was the first atomic bomb used in war. It wiped out nearly everyone that lived in the city(90%). It immediately killed 80,000 people. More would die soon after due to radiation. After about 3 days the United States decided to drop another bomb on Nagasaki killing about 40,000 people. After this Japan surrendered.
