the battle of the coral sea took place in the coral sea which is between Australia, New Guinea, and the Soloman Islands. this lasted from May 4, 1942, until May 8, 1942. the countries involved were the U.S, Australia vs Japan. the Americans won as the result. this is important because this was the "turning point" battle of the war. -

The battle of Anzio lasted from January 22, 1944, until June 5, 1944. This took place in Italy. The countries involved were the U.S, U.K, and Canada vs. Germany and Italy. Luckily the U.S and U.K won and drove Germany out of Italy. something significant about this battle was that the German troops who were at this battle of Anzio were originally supposed to be used for the battle of Normandy. -
D-day
This invasion was fought in Normandy, France on June 6th, 1944. On the one side, we have all the Allies, and on the other, we have Germany and Italy. The Allies won and beat Germany out of France.
This is important because this helped us establish a foothold in Europe. We did this so we could try to drive Germany back to berlin. -

the battle of Leyte Gulf took place in the Philippines from October 23, 1944, until October 26, 1944. the countries involved were the U.S and Australia vs Japan. the allies won as the result of this battle. this battle is important because this was the last time that japan would have large operations during the war. -

The battle took place in Luxembourg Germany. the countries involved were the U.S, U.K, France, Canada, Belgium vs Germany. As the results of the war, the Allies won giving more failures to Germany. This was important because this was the last major Nazi offensive in WWII. We were 2 steps ahead of Hitler's plan. -

This is where the German army surrendered and an end to Hitler, as he killed himself. -

the Philippines campaign took place obviously in the Philippines from October 20, 1944, until September 2, 1945. the countries involved were the U.S, Philipines, Australia, and Mexico vs Japan. the allied victory is the result of this campaign. this is important because by using unique strategies we were able to claim victory against japan.
