    This battle is extremely important as it’s accepted as the universal start of WW2. This battle would set off all the battle that would come in the next 6 years.

    This battle was important because it was the first time civilians fought against the Axis powers. This angered and frustrated them, but also gave inspiration to civilians of other countries.
